Renault Launches 'The Rrrugby Family', The First Web Community Dedicated To Rugby Fans

PARIS – November 5, 2008: www.lafamilleRRRUGBY.com is the first rugby fan club to appear online in a community version.

Destined to become a major address for rugby enthusiasts, the new site features comprehensive coverage of rugby news with no sign-up procedures. Visitors can personalize their online experience by creating their own profiles, while professionals and fans get to meet, exchange photos and videos, and share their love of the game.

Some one hundred profiles were created on www.lafamilleRRRUGBY.com at the inauguration event on November 4 at Atelier Renault. On hand to celebrate were Jacques Chauvet, Senior Vice President, Market Area France, Pierre Camou, President of the French Rugby Federation (FFR), the French national team, and rugby stars such as Philippe Sella, Jo Maso, Jean-Claude Skrela, Richard Pool-Jones, Vincent Moscato,…

Renault signed a five-year partnership agreement with the FFR and the national team on January 10, confirming its long-term commitment to rugby. The leading French carmaker, Renault also has the biggest sales network in the country, with 5,500 outlets that have made 114 partnerships with professional, amateur and regional rugby clubs. By partnering the FFR and the national team, Renault is helping to support the entire rugby community in France.
