Robert Houghtlin, Former VP/Publisher, Car and Driver Magazine Is Named Vice President, Sales for Jumpstart Automotive Media

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., October 24, 2008: Steve Wilhite, President, Jumpstart Automotive Media Inc. announced today that Robert Houghtlin, former Vice President/Publisher, Car and Driver, has been named Vice President, Sales for Jumpstart Automotive Media (http://www.hfmus.com/hfmus/media_kits/automotive/jumpstart/about_us ), the leading automotive online rep firm owned by Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S., publisher of Car and Driver. Houghtlin will assume the position immediately and will report to Wilhite.

Until his appointment as vice president, sales, for Jumpstart Automotive Media, Robert G. Houghtlin III served as Car and Driver's vice president, publisher in Detroit starting in 2004. He began his career at HFM U.S. in 2001 as an account manager in charge of the Daimler Chrysler account and in 2003 was promoted to associate publisher of HFM U.S.'s Auto Group in Detroit. Prior to joining HFM U.S., Houghtlin was Detroit manager of sales as part of the original launch team of ESPN the Magazine. He has held several sales positions at LIFE magazine and U.S. News & World Report.
