New Skoda Superb On Fleet Books From £199
MILTON KEYNES – October 20, 2008: The brand New Superb is available to business customers from just £199 per month (plus VAT and initial rental) with an introductory offer from Škoda Finance for quarter four of 2008.
Available on the entry level 1.9 TDI Superb S, the offer is available on contract hire based on a 36 month period and 10,000 miles per annum on vehicles delivered by 31 January 2009.
Business customers opting for the mid trim level SE Superb with the same engine will be paying just £225 a month (plus VAT and initial rental) while those opting for the top trim level Superb Elegance with a 2.0 TDI 140 bhp engine will need to find just £275 per month (plus VAT and initial rental).
Priced from just £15,490, Škoda’s latest hatchback not only boasts strong residual values and low whole life costs but also sits in low VED bands, making it extremely attractive to business customers.
Martin Burke, Head of Business Sales at Škoda, comments: “The New Superb is a cut above competitors in the upper medium sector, not only beating them on price and running costs but also on functionality, design and build quality.
“Growing numbers of fleet managers are turning to Škoda for value and reliability and this is backed by our growing market share, currently at 1.8 per cent, and growing sales. In September our fleet sales were 12.2 per cent up in a market that was 3.3% down.”
“It is clear that the value for money and quality we are consistently delivering has helped grow fleet managers’ confidence in our brand. We are very confident that we will hit our target of 4,000 New Superbs in our first full sales year in 2009.”
The New Superb is available with a choice of three petrol and three diesel engines, from the TSI S to the impressive 3.6 V6 260 bhp 4x4 DSG. A new 2.0 TDI common rail diesel engine with a power output of 170 bhp is available for the first time, as are four wheel drive and DSG gearboxes on a number of engines.
Three trim levels are available on the New Superb: S, SE and Elegance. Standard features across the range include ESP, seven airbags, front and rear electric windows, alloy wheels and ‘Twindoor,’ a unique system for variable boot opening, never seen in the industry before, which transforms the New Superb from a saloon to a hatch at the touch of a button.
