Creator of THE PLAN calls the continued marketing of gas-guzzling Toyota Sequoias, Honda Pilots, and Cadillac Escalades a life and death issue
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, CA - October 19, 2008: Best selling author Edwin
Black was the key speaker at the Western Automotive Journalists' Future
Fuels and Propulsion Systems Symposium in the San Francisco Bay Area this past Wednesday
night. Edwin discussed his latest book, THE PLAN, and a possible
catastrophic oil crisis that awaits the United States unless preemptory
action is taken soon.
In his remarks, Edwin was highly critical of auto manufacturers’ purposeful decisions to block the
distribution in America of efficient, environmentally-friendly vehicles in favor of cars
and trucks that keep us addicted to foreign oil from “people that want to kill us.”
