Talladega, AL. October 16, 2008: The No. 7 STP Kurtis-NOVI on display at the International Motorsports Hall of Fame and Museum (IMHOF) didn’t capture the trophy at Indianapolis, but it did endear itself to legions of fans.

The Studebaker Special was owned by legendary STP spokesman and 1992 International Motorsports Hall of Fame Inductee Andy Granatelli, while the car design came from 2008 IMHOF Inductee Frank Kurtis. During its racing career, the open-cockpit roadster featured a 765 horsepower supercharged 8-cylinder engine and cost approximately $50,000 to build.
