Western Automotive Journalists Host 2nd Annual Future Fuel and Propulsion Systems Symposium with Special Guests - VIDEO ENHANCED
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO - October 15, 2008: America's second largest automotive
journalists organization, Western Automotive Journalists, will stage their Future Fuels and Propulsion
Systems Symposium this evening with two extra-special program features:
3PM: Pit stop demo of the Corvette and Aston Martin ALMS race crews and their
biofuel-powered vehicles. Ride and drive vehicles available include two European diesels –
a 50 mpg Honda CRV and a 32 mpg BMW 7 Series, a Ford Escape plug-in Hybrid, a Toyota
factory plug-in hybrid, a Ford Focus fuel cell vehicle, a Calcars plug-in hybrid that
will demonstrate vehicle-to-grid capability, a Dodge Durango 2-mode hybrid and a
Nissan Altima hybrid.
