DETROIT - October 10, 2008: While the U.S. Department of Transportation reports Americans have driven an estimated 62.6 billion miles less since November 2007, car manufacturers say it does not mean maintenance check-ups should also decrease. General Motors reports vehicles driven less still need basic care to maintain fuel efficiency and performance.
