TONY GEORGE STATEMENT ON THE PASSING OF PAUL NEWMAN

INDIANAPOLIS, Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008 -- The following is a statement from Tony George, the chief executive officer of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the founder & CEO of the Indy Racing League, on the passing of actor, racing enthusiast and IndyCar Series team owner Paul Newman:

"On behalf of my mother Mari Human George and the entire Hulman-George family at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and IndyCar Series, our thoughts and prayers are with the family, friends and loved ones of Paul Newman.
