STANFORD, Calif., Sept. 24, 2008 - The future of transportation technology and the environment are intertwined. An Oct. 1, 2008 panel discussion on the Stanford campus, co-hosted with Robert Bosch LLC, will bring together leading experts and executives at the nexus of this issue. Hosted by radio journalist Dr. Moira Gunn of the popular radio program Tech Nation, the panel includes:
- Dr. Lawrence Burns, vice president, Research & Development and Strategic Planning, General Motors Corporation
- Professor Christopher Edwards, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Stanford
- Dr. Horst Muenzel, regional president, Research and Technology Center, Robert Bosch LLC
