Pep Boys Names Michael R. Odell Permanent Chief Executive Officer

PHILADELPHIA - September 22, 2008: The Pep Boys - Manny, Moe & Jack - the nation's leading automotive aftermarket retail and service chain, today appointed Michael R. Odell Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Odell had been serving as the Company’s Interim Chief Executive Officer since April 23, 2008. Mr. Odell also serves on the Board of Directors.
