Engine and Transmission Exchange Rebrands Itself as ETE REMAN

MILWAUKEE, Wis., Sept. 18, 2008 - Engine and Transmission Exchange, Inc. announced today that the company has adopted ETE REMAN as its new trade name. This change better communicates ETE REMAN’s product concentration– remanufactured transmissions and transfer cases. Customers and the market will immediately begin seeing the ETE REMAN branding on the company website, on all marketing materials and packaging. The Company’s formal corporate name, Engine and Transmission Exchange, Inc. remains unchanged.

At the same time, ETE REMAN is pleased to announce a significant improvement in its transmission and transfer case warranty program. Effective immediately, across all transmission and transfer case products, installers and consumers now have the comfort and protection of a 36-month, 100,000-mile full replacement warranty. Already known and respected in the market for their product quality, competitive pricing, outstanding customer service and breadth of applications, the addition of this new, longer-term warranty enhances the company’s ability to achieve its goal of significantly increasing market share. ETE REMAN’s labor time reimbursements continue with this new extended terms warranty.
