OEConnection Named to NorthCoast 99 for 5th Consecutive Year

RICHFIELD, Ohio, Sept. 18, 2008 - OEConnection LLC, the leading Online Parts & Service Exchange (OPSX) in the automotive industry, announced today that the company was named as a NorthCoast 99 winner for the fifth consecutive year. Sponsored by the Employers Resource Council (ERC), this award honors the 99 best workplaces in northeast Ohio.

NorthCoast 99 is an annual recognition program that honors 99 great workplaces for top talent in Northeast Ohio. ERC selects winners on the quality of their workplace and their demonstrated ability to attract, retain and motivate top performers. For 2008, ERC recognized the organizations that best exhibit the Seven Fundamental Characteristics of a Great Workplace, or those found to be most important to top performing employees. These characteristics include flexibility, opportunity, recognition, development, security, support, and talent integrity.

Unique in its approach to award nominations, NorthCoast 99 seeks nominations directly from associates throughout the region. Nominated organizations complete a detailed description of their programs, policies, and benefits. Once again in 2008, ERC included a survey of Top Performers in the region, and will compile a comprehensive report from the winners' data to share with participating organizations as a guidebook on the region's most successful practices. ERC recognized its 2008 winners at an awards banquet on September 17 in Westlake, Ohio.
