inthinc Appoints Melissa Rosato as Vice President of Business Development

SALT LAKE CITY--inthinc, a developer and manufacturer of technologies to improve driving safety, has appointed Melissa S. Rosato as vice president of business development. Rosato joined inthinc from Sprint Nextel, where she served as director of business development for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series sponsorship.

Melissa is an accomplished industry veteran who brings a rich legacy of world-class experience to the ranks of the inthinc management team, said Blake Kirby, president of inthinc. Melissa is unparalleled in her ability to initiate and foster new business opportunities in markets of interest to inthinc. She will be pivotal in creating, organizing and growing new and existing relationships as well as focusing on several select strategic prospects.

As Sprint Nextels director of business development for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series sponsorship, Rosato worked to grow business opportunities with corporate sponsors, tracks and teams in the NASCAR community.

Prior to that appointment, she was an award-winning global account manager at Metromedia Fiber Network, where she maintained and developed business relationships among Fortune 100 companies. She also served as a regional sales manager for KMC Telecommunications.

Rosato earned a bachelors degree in business administration from Radford University, in Radford, Va., for marketing, consumer trend research and branding initiatives. She maintains ties to the university by participating on Radfords President Advisory Council.

She is a founding board member of the NASCAR Fuel for Business Council, which aids in driving business-to-business partnerships among official sponsors. She also serves as a committee member for the Autism Society of Delaware, helping raise funding and awareness for the Drive for Autism Research.
