Key Management Changes At Jaguar Land Rover

AUTO CENTRAL – September 12, 2008: David Blackhall, Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover Australia/New Zealand has announced a number of changes in key management assignments: -

Lorraine Giles promoted to head Franchise Planning globally
Lorraine Giles, JLR's Network Strategy Manager Au/NZ has been promoted to the position of Manager, Franchise Planning, Jaguar Land Rover, reporting to Andy Griffiths, Director, Global Retail Operations. In this position, Lorraine will be based in Gaydon, Warwickshire UK, with global responsibility for all aspects of franchise planning for both brands.

Blackhall said "Lorraine's promotion is fitting recognition of her professional expertise and knowledge in this key area of our business. Lorraine made outstanding contributions to the significant development of the franchises in Australia and particularly her handling of the major network restructurings in 2004-2006 that delivered important improvements in market representation and dealer profitability".

Lorraine will transition during September and assume her duties permanently on October 15th, 2008.

Dorian Lapthorne to lead Jaguar in China
Dorian Lapthorne, presently General Manager Jaguar Australia, has been promoted to the position of Brand General Manager, Jaguar Cars, China reporting to Chris Brown, Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover China. The appointment is effective October 15th, 2008 and the position is based in Shanghai.

Blackhall commented that Dorian has distinguished himself leading Jaguar in Australia, successfully managing the important XK and XF vehicle launches and the progressive repositioning of the brand.

Geoff Wood heads up Network Development; Michael Cameron takes Sales role
Geoff Wood has been appointed Manager, Network Development and Facilities, reporting to David Blackhall, replacing Lorraine Giles.

Wood has an extensive background with Land Rover and the former PAG brands having managed Asian distributors and worked for Volvo. Most recently he was National Sales and Distribution Manager for Land Rover Australia.

Replacing Geoff, Michael Cameron is appointed National Sales and Distribution Manager, Land Rover Australia, reporting to Roger Jory.

Michael has a strong automotive background and was most recently Regional Business Manager, Land Rover Northern Region.

Kevin Goult appointed to head Land Rover Marketing and Public Affairs
Kevin Goult is appointed Manager, Marketing and Public Affairs, Land Rover Australia, reporting to Roger Jory, General Manager Land Rover. Kevin replaces Jon Harris, who resigned to take a senior position outside the car business.

Roger Jory commented "We are delighted to have Kevin take the reins in this important area. With his experience working with the company in the UK and his strong marketing savvy we are looking forward to his important contributions to our success".

Mark Hartigan to New Zealand
Mark Hartigan is appointed Business Manager, New Zealand, reporting to Janet Perich, Finance Manager, Jaguar Land Rover Australia/NZ.

Mark, who formerly ran the Australian parts logistics businesses for Jaguar and Land Rover, will assume responsibility for co-ordinating the business activities of Motorcorp Distributors Limited, the Jaguar and Land Rover distributors in New Zealand.
