MILTON KEYNES – September 11, 2008: Suzuki GB is pleased to confirm the promotion of Denis Houston to the position of Director of Aftersales following the retirement of Barry Everett, Director of Technical Services, after 13 years of service with the company, and a career that spanned 50 years in vehicle manufacturer aftersales.

Houston brings extensive experience to the new role, having joined Suzuki as National Aftersales Manager (Automobiles) in January 2001, before progressing to the position of General Manager for Aftersales, which he has held since 2004. He will take up the position of Director of Aftersales with immediate effect, and will oversee both the Technical Services, and the Parts and Accessories Divisions of Suzuki GB.

This latest change in management at Suzuki GB reflects Denis’s continued commitment and success at Suzuki and the ongoing development of the brand’s dealer network.

Commenting on his promotion, Denis Houston explains: “Barry’s dedication to Technical Services for over a decade has meant that we have a solid base on which to develop the Aftersales division, which is a fundamental part of our business. Furthermore, it will play an important role in our strategy to maximise dealer profitability through customer retention, and we will continue to ensure that we provide a service which surpasses the expectations of our customers.”
