The ceremony, at the Detroit Institute of Arts, hosted by the AIAG and sponsored by Chrysler LLC, Ford Motor Company, General Motors Corporation, Honda of America Manufacturing, Inc., International Automotive Oversight Bureau (IAOB) and Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc., will recognize these individuals for their hard work and commitment on behalf of the automotive industry to:
-- Apply proven quality tools for performance improvement in the delivery of health care to reduce medical errors
-- Standardize the Bill of Lading and advancing global materials management and logistics processes
-- Educate the global supply chain on the European Union REACH regulation to reduce the administrative burden on suppliers, improve compliance and minimize the risk of supply chain interruption
-- Define quality assessment procedures to reduce errors in manufacturing processes
-- Develop EDI messages to streamline communication for Materials Off-Shore Sourcing and long distance supply chain shipments
