TALLADEGA, Ala., Sept. 3, 2008 – Ever wondered what it takes to compete at NASCAR’s Most Competitive Track? Well now is your opportunity to ask four of the best! Talladega Superspeedway announced today that ticket holders to the AMP Energy 500 will have the opportunity to witness NASCAR’s Cut To The Chase Satellite Media Tour on Wednesday, Sept 10 at the International Motorsports Hall of Fame SPEED Dome from 10:00 am – 12:00 noon.

The Cut To The Chase Satellite Media Tour allows drivers competing in the 2008 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup to interact with tracks via satellite. Talladega Superspeedway has upped the ante by adding a fan element to their part of the tour. Drivers scheduled for Talladega are Jeff Gordon (11:00 am – 11:15 am), Tony Stewart (11:15 am – 11:30 am), Kevin Harvick (11:30 – 11:45 am) and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. (11:45 am – 12:00 noon). Fans will be allowed to view a question and answer session between media and drivers from a designated viewing area. Upon entry, fans will be asked to submit a question for their favorite driver, with the possibility of that question being asked and answered during the broadcast! Tickets or proof of purchase will be required for admission.

“This is our first time participating in the Satellite Media Tour and we are excited about opening it up to our fans,” said Talladega Superspeedway President Rick Humphrey. “Any one of these four drivers could be the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion and our fans have the opportunity to pose a question to each. It’s a great way to say ‘thank-you’ to our fans and build some extra excitement for AMP Energy 500.”

Tickets are still available to the AMP Energy 500 for race fans that would like to participate in the Cut To The Chase Tour.
