ANDRETTI-GREEN NOTES - POST DETROIT

Danica Patrick, #7 Motorola Dallara/Honda/Firestone "It is a very disappointing day for the Motorola team because we were doing so well today. We had a great car all weekend, but unfortunately we encountered a couple incidents which caused us to become a lap down. I was really hoping that we would have a great finish on the final road course of the season."
Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone "I'm happy with the third-place finish today after starting eighth. The Team 7-Eleven guys worked hard all weekend, gave me some very good pit stops today and were able to gain a couple of positions during the stops. We had to save fuel during the last stint and had telemetry problems over the final 10 laps, so to be able to finish on the podium for the second-straight weekend is a great accomplishment. We're in a battle for third place in the championship and Dan (Wheldon) didn't finish. It makes the championship exciting, not just for first and second, but third and fourth as well."
Marco Andretti, #26 Meijer Dallara/Honda/Firestone "This was just a disappointing weekend for us. We lost second gear near the end of the race and that ended our day early. I feel for the entire Meijer team. We have had terrible luck at this place."
Hideki Mutoh, #27 Formula Dream Dallara/Honda/Firestone "It was a frustrating race for the Formula Dream team. Our strategy didn't work as well as we anticipated and I had some communication problems with the team. I just wanted to have a top 10 finish and gain some points, so I am very disappointed. We only have one more race so I hope we do well at Chicagoland."
