LONDON - August 18, 2008: Such was the success achieved by telematics specialists GlobalLive at the 2008 Commercial Vehicle Show, the company has taken the wise decision to more than double its stand space at next year's Show.
Since incorporation in July 2005, GlobalLive Limited has gone from strength to strength, developing and implementing a growing portfolio of vehicle tracking, fleet monitoring and management solutions. It is now well established as one of Europe's leading telematics solution providers. In just two short years, the company has made a significant impact upon a global marketplace, achieving excellent levels of profitability from year one.
GlobalLive offers track and trace products which integrate fully with multi-level back office systems. Combined with job delivery to PDA and signature capture, the company provides previously unachievable levels of savings and efficiencies, achieved through successful trading partnerships with other best of breed software providers, delivered to a receptive high end market.
The GlobalLive team is made up of highly motivated personnel who are passionate about the product, focused on driving the company to meet its objectives and provide a customer service beyond expectations.
GlobalLive now services over 1,000 customers, with more than 15,000 units operating in the field.
“We attended the CV Show for the first time this year, with excellent results,” said GlobalLive Director Dr David Clayton. “Four months on and we’re still bringing in orders from companies who visited us for the first time in Birmingham. In fact we actually signed up over £250,000 worth of business on the stand during the exhibition! We are looking forward to next year’s Show and have already put in our request for a substantially larger stand to accommodate our fast-developing product portfolio.”
Show organisers are delighted that at 1 August, over 269 exhibitors have made firm bookings, representing well over 30,000 square metres of exhibition space. “This is tremendous news,” said Show Manager Tony Young. “It proves beyond doubt that despite the dire economic climate all sectors of industry are currently facing, the commercial vehicle sector remains confident of its future as a key player within UK plc.”
The CV Show will be held at the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham from 28-30 April 2009. It is the fastest growing and most successful business to business event of its type in Europe, with free entry available across the three day exhibition. The event is owned by the CV Show Partnership, comprising the Road Haulage Association, the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders and the IRTE (Institute of Road Transport Engineers), a professional sector of the SOE (Society of Operations Engineers). Crystal Communications handles stand space sales and marketing for the Partnership.
