US-power from Austria Nitro, Voyager and Journey - Powered by O.CT Tuning
LUSTENAU, AUSTRIA - July 21, 2008: Chrysler and Dodge have hit it off big with their new models Grand Voyager and Journey. Bareley available, O.CT Oberscheider Tuning GmbH, the innovative Tuner from Austria, is responding to the increasing popularity with an impressive performance enhancement.
Chrysler Grand Voyager, the bestseller from the states, has to flex and strain every muscle of his 163 HP and 360 Nm strong 2.8 CRD engine to move the 5,1 meter long and 2.1 ton Van from 80 to 140 km/h. This particular affects overtaking on country roads – not only nerve racking, but also a safety hazard. O.CT Tuning has a remedy: The IPRO-power upgrade. 192 horsepower and 415 Newton meters push the Voyager 82 carlenghts earlier from 0 to 160 km/h than the serial car does. The top speed also rises from 185 to 196 km/h.
The new Dodge Journey combines the practical attributes of a van with the versatility of an SUV and the efficiency of a sedan. O.CT Tuning starts on the 2.0 CRD Turbodiesel-engine with 140 HP, and presents a power enhancement to full 168 HP. Together with the increasement of the torque (310 to 360 Nm), an improvement across the complete speed range is achieved, especially in the upper area (80km/h up). Getting advantages while passing other cars is one of the positive results of the O.CT power enhancement, which helps the Journey to a top speed of 200 km/h, up 12 km/h from the 140 horsepower standard version. Even more impressive: The improved acceleration in gear, besting the untuned model by several seconds.
The new Dodge Nitro sticks out from the mass of conventional SUVs through its unique styling. O.CT Oberscheider now offers a power upgrade for the turbocharged diesel engine to complement the aggressive look. After installation of the O.CT-IPRO-power upgrade, horsepower jumps from 177 to a healthy 202. An additional benefit: More torque, now rated at 505 Newton meters. The results are impressive. The O.CT Tuning Nitro bests the original by a whopping 1,5 seconds when accelerating from standstill to 100 km/h. Even more breathtaking: the increase in performance at higher speeds. The O.CT Tuning Nitro sprints from 0 to 160 km/h in 26,5 seconds – nine seconds quicker than the stock model! The exceptional improvement in performance does not affect the engines frugality – the average fuel consumption remains on serial level.
