Danica Patrick, #7 Motorola Dallara/Honda/Firestone "The Motorola car was a little too nervous for my style of driving today, but we are working through the issues. Hopefully we will be able to find a better set up before qualifying tomorrow. My crew is working hard to get the car where it needs to be."
Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone "Obviously it got a lot hotter this afternoon and there are a lot of cars from other formulas out there with different types of tires and rubber. That definitely had an effect on the slower times in the afternoon session. For the Team 7-Eleven guys, though, we're happy. The car is pretty good. It's pretty balanced at high speeds."
Marco Andretti, #26 Blockbuster Dallara/Honda/Firestone "We were making changes to the Blockbuster car during the afternoon session and were able to improve. We're still struggling with overall grip, though. Since they sealed the track it seems like it is lacking a bit of grip. It seems like what we do to fix one end of the car only messes with the other end of the car. I think we've found the balance, now we just need to find some grip."
Hideki Mutoh, #27 Formula Dream Dallara/Honda/Firestone
"The morning session was good for the Formula Dream team. We had a good car in the afternoon session but had a bit of a problem with the gears so we didn't get as much time out there as we wanted."
Franck Montagny, #26 XM Satellite Radio Acura: "The XM Acura was alright during qualifying. We are starting on the second row, which is much better than starting last like we had to do last weekend. The car will be strong in the race, but it was missing something for qualifying. But we are getting better. We are now battling for P1, P2, P3 all the time, so I feel confident for the race."
