AGR QUOTES - POST-QUALIFYING

Danica Patrick, #7 Motorola Dallara/Honda/Firestone "The Motorola car was making progress all weekend. We were getting quicker and quicker as the weekend went on. Qualifying is the only time when we did not get quicker, so that is frustrating."

Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone "I'm happier than the seventh-place guy but we made the wrong change for the Firestone Fast Six Shootout and it cost us. It could have gone either way. Helio (Castroneves) and I were the only two drivers to be in every Shootout and since Helio didn't make it, it makes me proud that I was able to continue the streak. I'm not happy with the starting position but the Team 7-Eleven race car is pretty good. It will be a physical race, very tough to pass, but we'll be ready."

Marco Andretti, #26 oso*fresh Dallara/Honda/Firestone "I think we had a little bit more in the car. That's why the oso*fresh guys are all a bit disappointed. We did a good job, though. We're right there with the top six. It's not ideal but we're in it and we have a very good race car."

Hideki Mutoh, #27 Formula Dream Dallara/Honda/Firestone "It's been a tough weekend for the Formula Dream team. We were confident that we would be in Firestone Fast Six Shootout during the first group, but a caution came out at the worst time for me and I couldn't get a clear lap. I am starting in the back, so I will do my best to move up as much as possible."

Raphael Matos, #27 AFS Racing/Andretti Green Racing Dallara/Firestone "It has been a long time since I've been in victory lane. I'm just so happy for the AFS/AGR team. I was just trying to be conservative at the beginning of the first race just to get the tires warm and it worked out for us. I was able to get a comfortable gap there at the end of the first race. For the second race, we didn't have strong car on the restarts. I almost spun out on the last restart in turn 10. It's too bad because I knew yesterday in qualifying that the car was going to be great today. Antinucci was very competitive all weekend, whcih made it tough to get that second win. We had a run there at the end of the second race, but we just came up short. I am still happy with the result for the AFS/Andretti Green team. I really need to thank the AFS/Andretti Green team and everyone that has been supporting us so far this season. This has really put us in a good position for the championship."

Arie Luyendyk Jr., #26 Targus/AGR/AFS Dallara/Firestone "The day was pretty good. I think we had a better car than the results showed. We got a little lucky in the first race with the mistakes from other drivers. The Targus/AGR/AFS car was really good. We posted the third quickest time in that first race. The second race was just so hard to pass. I am still happy with two seventh place finishes. We're just going to look forward to Nashville now. We had a great test there, so hopefully we'll be able to get that first victory."
