AGR QUOTES - PRE-QUALIFICATION AT THE GLEN

Danica Patrick, #7 Motorola Dallara/Honda/Firestone "The Motorola car made a great deal of progress each session today. I am very happy with the car, for sure the happiest I have been with any car here at Watkins Glen. We just need to get a clear lap in with sticker tires and make the most of it. I feel confident that qualifying will go well tomorrow."

Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone "We're not very happy right now. The good thing is that we've been able to put up good times in the Team 7-Eleven car even though we get into traffic every time we go out. We'll work on it tonight and hopefully be better tomorrow."

Marco Andretti, #26 oso*fresh Dallara/Honda/Firestone "We're not having fun yet. We have a lot of work to do. The time can come but the lap has to be perfect. We're having to work too hard for it right now which isn't good. We still have work to do to get the oso*fresh car where we need it to be."

Hideki Mutoh, #27 Formula Dream Dallara/Honda/Firestone

"There's such a big difference from last year when I raced in the Firestone Indy Lights Series here. I'm struggling a little more than I thought I would. I know we could improve the Formula Dream car, so I will keep concentrating on getting used to the track and do my best. We have practice time tomorrow, so I hope we will be able to get the car ready for the race."

Raphael Matos, #27 AFS Racing/Andretti Green Racing Dallara/Firestone "I'm very disappointed because I got blocked by Daniel Herrington on my best lap. Tony Cotman was very clear in the driver meeting that whoever interferes in the qualifying run will be penalized and I hope he does something about it. I'm fairly happy about the result for the AFS Racing/Andretti Green Racing car, though. If you look at the big picture, it could be good for the championship because (Dillon) Battistini and (Richard) Antinucci are farther back. I think we have a good race car but can certainly improve."

Arie Luyendyk Jr., #26 Targus/AGR/AFS Dallara/Firestone "Unfortunately the car was not very good in qualifying. We missed on the setup and I don't know why. In practice, we were fourth and running with the top guys but in qualifying it didn't seem like the car was underneath us. We're obviously disappointed starting 12th but we'll have to make the Targus/AGR/AFS car better for tomorrow and hopefully we'll be able to get around some guys."
