Cabbies Strike it Rich in National Prize Draw

COVENTRY-June 20,2008: Taxi drivers Masaud Iqbal and Paul Foster are celebrating having scooped £2,500 in cash prizes as part of a national prize draw.

The prizes were awarded as part of a test drive promotion organised by LTI Vehicles. Cabbies from across the country were invited by LTI Vehicles’ national network of nine dealerships to test drive the latest version of the world famous taxi – the TX4. Drivers received free entry into the prize draw and a limited edition TX4 jacket as an incentive for putting the world famous vehicle through its paces.

The first prize of £2,000 was awarded to Masaud Iqbal from Yardley, Birmingham. Collecting the money from his local dealership Mann & Overton Birmingham a jubilant Masaud said: “It came as a complete shock to discover that I had won the top prize. I shall use the money to treat my family and friends.

“Following my test drive, I was so impressed with the TX4 taxi that when I’m next ready to change my vehicle I will definitely buy one. Thanks must go to LTI Vehicles for coming up with such a wonderful promotion.”

Second prize went to Paul Foster from Kirkby, Liverpool who collected a cheque for £500 from his local dealership Taxifix Ltd. “I was at home when I received the call from Taxifix telling me of my win,” said Paul. “You never expect to win these kind of things, but I shall use the money to take my family on holiday.

“Having taken the TX4 for a test drive, I was really impressed with the smooth ride of the vehicle and the level of service provided by the dealership who provide me with a one-stop shop for all my taxi needs.”
