Italian Young? Creative? Chevrolet! 2008 winners awarded in Rome
ROME – June 19, 2008: The young talented artists who won the Italian step of the pan-European contest Young? Creative? Chevrolet! gathered today at the Jet Set Chalet of the Eur in Rome for the awards ceremony.
The students that have taken the first place win 1.200 Euro and they will participate to the European selection; second and third places will be awarded respectively with 500 and 300 Euro.
The contest, at its second edition, is the lens with which Chevrolet would like to read the young creative people giving back the opportunity of becoming visible to the world making a real experience. A courageous project, looking for virginity of the creative vein of those girls and boys to find out new inspirations and solutions, more and more tuned with the future targets.
All started with a simple question. Young? Creative? that in occasion of this second edition of the contest has been again asked by Chevrolet to many arts applied, design and fashion schools, in Italy and in other 14 countries.
A great number of students, from all over Italy, decided to accept the Chevrolet brief challenge. Last May 30th 2008 a jury of experts chose the most “young and creative” participants that today have had the opportunity to taste the victory: this pleasure for the first placed, Claudio Dianetti for Fashion, and Camille Kouassi for Visual Arts, also represents the ticket to the European selection.
And for Camille Kouassi the European step has already been disputed this weekend in Brno, stop over of the WTCC Championship in the Czech Republic, where the international jury decided the winner of the Visual Arts discipline choosing the best Lacetti WTC livery.
Camille has proudly represented Italy challenging with projects from all over Europe. The results did not see the Ivorian student from IAAD of Torino on the podium but the work has been appreciated by a jury in a great embarrass determined by the high quality of the presented drawings.
