PARIS – June 16, 2008: More than 50,000 people attended the Renault Roadshow of June 15, which took place at the Technocentre (in Guyancourt, near Paris). More than 50,000 Renault employees and their families participated to the Roadshow organized by Renault at the Technocentre (in Guyancourt, near Paris) to celebrate the site’s 10th anniversary on Sunday June 15. They came from over 10 Renault sites, including, of course, the Technocentre, the company’s headquarters and several plants.
This was the largest event ever organized by a company for its employees in France. The audience attended a show starring the official ING Renault F1 Team and 2005 and 2006 FIA Formula One driver world champion, Fernando Alonso at the wheel of his F1. The audience applauded the pit stop simulations, the ING Renault F1 Team and the parades of collector vehicles and Mégane Trophy cars. Special activities were organized for the children present.
Bernard Ollivier, Director of the Guyancourt-Aubevoye and Rueil-Lardy units, thanked Fernando Alonso for his presence and underlined “the enthusiasm generated by this unique event for the 10th anniversary of a site that is unique as well.”
