AGR NOTES - PRE-TEXAS QUOTES

Danica Patrick, #7 Motorola Dallara/Honda/Firestone "Texas is a track where you need to be comfortable and confident in your car. There is a great deal of side-by-side racing that takes place at TMS. I have gotten much more confident at the mile-and-a-half tracks, so hopefully the Motorola car will be running upfront this weekend."
Tony Kanaan, #11 Team 7-Eleven Dallara/Honda/Firestone "With the exception of Indianapolis and Homestead, the 7-Eleven team has been able to get good finishes at all the other ovals. Our two poor results on ovals were both races that we could have won, and because of that, I think we'll be very competitive at Texas. It is an important race for us, as it is in 7-Eleven's backyard. So, we'll do everything we can to get into victory lane."
Marco Andretti, #26 Blockbuster Dallara/Honda/Firestone "What really makes Texas unique is the banking. All of the cars are flat out for the whole race, so the entire field will be close throughout and that's what the fans enjoy seeing. When you are on the track on your own, it feels incredibly fast. When you have 25 other cars out there with you, it feels even worse. The Blockbuster boys were good at Homestead, Kansas and Indianapolis and I think we'll be very fast at Texas."
Hideki Mutoh, #27 Formula Dream Dallara/Honda/Firestone "I am always excited to go to a new track. My teammates have told me that Texas is a very challenging track for the drivers. I need to be very careful and aware of what is going on around me at this track in order to have a good result in the Formula Dream car."
