MILWAUKEE, Wis. (May 31, 2008) – The Milwaukee Mile announced today an agreement with Beechwood Distributing, one of Wisconsin’s largest Anheuser-Busch distributors, that will provide greater exposure at retail locations for the historic speedway.

This agreement names Beechwood Distributing and Budweiser as official partners of The Mile in the domestic beer category. Terms of the agreement were not announced.

In the coming weeks, Beechwood Distributing will use the Budweiser brand to unveil a wide-ranging retail promotion which will enable race fans to receive a free NASCAR Nationwide Series race ticket with purchase.

“We are pleased to have an activation-minded partner in Beechwood Distributing, who will raise our involvement at the retail level for one of our most popular race nights, the Saturday night, June 21 NASCAR Nationwide Series event,” said Aaron Hart, The Milwaukee Mile’s VP – Sales.

The Budweiser Pavilion has been a popular destination for Wisconsin State Fair-goers each year, and through this agreement, the permanent entertainment building will be open each race weekend at The Milwaukee Mile, including this weekend’s IndyCar Series action.

“With 1,080 employees in Wisconsin and $237 million in capital investment in the Badger State, we are an American beer that salutes a Wisconsin tradition, and are thrilled to be involved with the rich heritage of auto racing at The Milwaukee Mile, America’s Legendary Oval,” said Dave Hock, Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Beechwood Distributing.

About Budweiser in Wisconsin

Budweiser makes a difference to the people and the economy of Wisconsin every day. Between their 16 wholesaler partners and two production facilities, 1,080 Wisconsin employees earn a payroll of nearly $70 million. Coupled with $123 million in supplies from local merchants and $237 million invested in their Wisconsin facilities, Budweiser makes a significant contribution to the state’s economy.

In a sense, many of our fine beers “begin and end” with Wisconsin-made products. They begin

with the brewer’s malt produced at the Busch Agricultural Resources, Inc. plant in Manitowoc, which processes nearly 13.5 million bushels of barley annually. And many of their beers are packaged in recyclable aluminum cans like the millions produced annually at the Metal Container Corporation in Fort Atkinson.

The company’s charitable contributions and extensive civic and community support— combined with a commitment to protecting and enhancing the environment—also adds value to Wisconsin.
