Lance Dewease Heads to Lernerville and Eldora to Pad Points Lead
FAYETTEVILLE, PA. –Lance Dewease takes his No. 30c Catoctin
Motorsports sprint car to Lernerville Speedway Friday night, then
makes the long trek to famed Eldora Raceway on Saturday night for the
All-Star Circuit of Champions races at both tracks.
The previous weekend was not a good one for Dewease as “we just fought
handling problems,” he reported. “We’re just looking forward to next
weekend and getting back on track.”
Back on track is not far for Dewease and his team, as he currently
leads the ASCoC championship standings by 114 points over Dale Blaney.
The fast half mile at Lernerville and the historic Eldora half mile
are both the kind of track where he excels. “I’m really looking
forward to both tracks,” he reported. “They are challenging to a
driver and that makes doing well there so much more rewarding.”
Lernerville’s race is slated for Friday night, when “Carbrite Night”
will combine the ASCoC sprinters with UMP Super Late Models and UMP
Street Stocks. At Eldora, the UMP Modifieds and local stock classes
add to the show. Watch for Dewease to add to his lead before heading
back to his “home tracks” of Port Royal Speedway and Williams Grove
Speedway the next two weekends.
