April 14, 2008 For Immediate Release _________________________________________________________________________ Viva Las Vegas for KB Racing’s Jason Line _________________________________________________________________________ Prior to the Las Vegas NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series event in April 2007, a Ken Black-owned Pro Stock car had never won the event for the local team owner. Not only did Greg Anderson end that losing streak in April 2007, but he claimed victory in the October 2007 event as well. On Sunday, Anderson’s KB Racing teammate Jason Line took his turn in the Vegas Winner’s Circle. Chicago Pneumatic team supporter Line’s 6.782-second, 203.83 mph run was enough for the win over Greg Stanfield in the final race of the SummitRacing.com NHRA Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. To reach the final race, Line defeated fellow CP supporter Kurt Johnson in the semi-finals. Line’ s strong weekend performance put him in a tie with teammate Anderson for the point lead in the Pro Stock class. The NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series resumes action April 24-27 at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals at Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Ga.
