Sandi Jerome Completes the Next Generation of 'AutoExcavations' Software Product

AVON, Conn., April 1 -- King Global Enterprises LLC and Sandi Jerome, of DealerStar LLC, announced today that Sandi has completed the next-generation web-based AutoExcavations software application for King Global Enterprises.

AutoExcavations maps an automobile dealer's entire customer base and builds exact repurchase quotes for a new vehicle of the current model year. The details surrounding their previous purchase are combined with their current service history data, trade value, applicable payoff, and new vehicle pricing, to produce the repurchase quotes.

Here's how it works: Dealers will log onto a website, access their data, and view exact repurchase quotes, pre-built to their specifications of gross profit and trade values, for their entire customer base going back as far as their DMS history allows. Sales managers will be able to manipulate the data by altering Selling Price, Trade Value, Down Payment, Term, APR and Incentive Amounts. The system automatically builds a quote for the current make and model year of the vehicle the customer presently owns, but users will have the ability to substitute any model their carline offers. Dealers will be able to initiate multi-media marketing campaigns in a shopping cart format directly from the site.

A special feature will allow dealer personnel to search by VIN (vehicle identification numbers) which can be utilized to prepare for marketing to current customers with scheduled service appointments. Instead of building a new quote from scratch when previous customers walk in, Sales managers can quickly access these pre-built quotes with accurate loan payoffs and trade values.

King Global Enterprises will manage the data by automatically updating the dealership quote base with the latest factory incentives, special APR programs or rebates, as soon as they are released. In addition dealerships will receive marketing opportunity alerts when major manufacturer incentive programs drastically put their customer base in a favorable scenario.

"Consumers no longer want to be sold an automobile, they want their purchase options delivered with exact details. If a letter, email, website or phone call can tell a customer that they could purchase a new model for less money than they are currently paying -- that's a quick sale!" added Jerome.

The AutoExcavations site was developed by Sandi Jerome, who recently designed DealerStar, a DMS system being released this year by ACS. Jerome has over 30 years experience in the car business, starting in the parts department. She was one of the first group of female F&I managers and eventually became a CPA, office manager and controller of a large mega store. She has managed a dealership group as CFO and been a fixed operations manager and assistant General Manager. She is the editor of Digital Dealer magazine and a recognized industry expert on dealership technology. She consults on about eleven DMS systems including R+R and UCS and is a certified ADP consultant. She speaks regularly at NADA on technology and her seminars are usually ranked in the top 10%. She has done the "Americanization" project for three DMS systems from other countries; the most recent one was Quorum from Canada which has been selected as a GM IDMS provider and provided consulting for the other major DMS companies over the years.

AutoExcavations is the brainchild of Chip King of King Global Enterprises LLC, based in Avon, Conn. King, President and founder of King Global Enterprises, grew up in a family of Ford and GM Multi-Line dealers.
