Corporation's production and sales results for February 2008 are
summarized below.

I. Production

As of January 2007, overseas production figures are based on Mazda 
brand units coming off the production line (does not include CKD kits).
1. Domestic Production

Additional production of the Mazda2 (known as the Mazda Demio in Japan)
bound for Europe and increased production of the Mazda6 (Atenza), Mazda5
(Premacy), and Mazda3 (Axela), among other models, led to a 28.8%
increase in total domestic production compared to February 2007.

-Domestic production of key models in February 2008:

Mazda2 (Demio) : 18,585 units (up 207.3% year-on-year) 
Mazda6 (Atenza) : 13,762 units (up 47.3% year-on-year) 
Mazda5 (Premacy) : 11,265 units (up 20.1% year-on-year) 
Mazda3 (Axela) : 36,905 units (up 6.9% year-on-year) 


2. Overseas Production

Although production of the Mazda6 was healthy, total overseas production
in February 2008 was down 20.9% year-on-year due to the end of
production of Familia and Premacy models in China since FAW Haima
established itself as an independent brand.

-Domestic production of key models in February 2008:

Mazda6 : 11,285 units (up 0.9% year-on-year) 
BT-50 : 6,835 units (down 9.1% year-on-year)

In February 2008, domestic sales increased 5.9% year-on-year, due to
brisk sales of the Mazda6 (Atenza), Mazda2 (Demio), Verisa and Mazda5
(Premacy).

Mazda's registered vehicle market share was 5.9%, up 0.3 points on
February 2007, with a 3.3% share of the micro-mini segment (up 0.4
points) and a 5.0% total market share, which is up 0.3 points over last
year's result.

-Domestic sales of key models in February 2008:

Mazda6 (Atenza) : 1,953 units (up 136.7% year-on-year) 
Mazda2 (Demio) : 6,017 units (up 22.2% year-on-year) 
Verisa : 1,355 units (up 5.0% year-on-year) 
Mazda5 (Premacy) : 2,814 units (up 2.0% year-on-year)

Exports increased over the same period last year, up 28.0% over February
2007. This result is due to brisk sales of the Mazda2 in Europe and
Oceania and the Mazda6 in Europe, as well as additional CX-7 exports to
Europe, and increased shipments of the CX-9 and other models to North
America.

On a market basis, exports to Europe, Oceania and other markets (the
Middle East and Asia) were healthy.

-Exports of key models in February 2008:

Mazda2 : 10,672 units (up 1271.7% year-on-year) 
Mazda6 : 12,176 units (up 44.8% year-on-year) 
CX-7 : 6,220 units (up 47.7% year-on-year) 
CX-9 : 4,687 units (up 31.8% year-on-year)
