Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival of Greater Philadelphia Begins April 5

- Subaru Celebrates Japanese Heritage During Festival -

CHERRY HILL, N.J., March 25 -- Subaru of America, Inc. is returning for the fifth year as title sponsor of the Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival, taking place in Philadelphia from April 5-19.

Tim Mahoney, chief marketing officer for Subaru of America said: "we are delighted to return for a fifth time as title sponsor of this event in our Delaware Valley home. The Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival of Greater Philadelphia celebrates the turn of the season and the friendship between Philadelphia and Japan with two weeks of Japanese music, art, food and fun. Festival events include:

     Wednesday, April 9, 6-8:30p.m.
     Tickets are $55 in advance and $65 at the door.

     Cost is $30 and includes all materials

  -- Sakura Sunday

     20 percent discount to diners at participating Japanese restaurants in
