RED BULL RACING POST-BRISTOL QUOTES

PHOTO

FREE QUOTES Brian Vickers, No. 83 driver: Not really much to say about today. We had a decent run going, a top-20, with eleven laps to go when we blew a left front tire. That caused us to hit the wall and dropped us from 20th to 39th. I'm really disappointed because this is going to hurt us in the points. And I can't believe we had brake problems - again! The brakes kept going in and out all race. I never knew if I was going to have them until I pushed the petal. We can't let little things like that beat us on the track. The positive thing is starting next week I will be able to sleep well on Thursday nights again. No more worrying about being outside the top-35 and qualifying in on time. This will allow us to focus more on our race set up during practice sessions."

Mike Skinner, No. 84 driver: "Rain cancelled our chance to get a decent qualifying spot, so we had to start from the back of the field. We managed to avoid wrecks around us until about halfway through the race, when a wreck off turn two had the whole field checking up. I got hit from behind and I just bumped into the car in front of me. I didn't think I even hit him that hard, but unfortunately it was hard enough because the car caught on fire when we damaged the radiator and oil cooler. The Red Bull crew took the car back into the garage and was able to fix enough damage to get us back out to finish the race. We didn't finish anywhere near

where we hoped, but we did finish, and that let the Red Bull Racing Team gather more information about the performance of the No. 84 car."
