Scania: Erik Ljungberg New Head of Corporate Relations

Erik Ljungberg has been appointed Senior Vice President and head of Corporate Relations.

Erik Ljungberg aged 36, is currently Head of Corporate Marketing at CLAAS Group in Germany, one of the biggest producers of agricultural machinery in the world.

During the period 1997 to 2006 Erik Ljungberg was employed by Scania (STO:SCVA) (STO:SCVB) and held various positions with Sales & Services, amongst others as head of Communication and Marketing at Scania Deutschland Österreich.

Erik Ljungberg has a Master of Science in Business Administration, specialising in strategic management, from the School of Economics at the University in Lund, Sweden.

In his role as head of Corporate Relations, Erik Ljungberg will report to Leif Östling, President and CEO of Scania, and become a member of group management.

Corporate Relations is responsible for External and Internal Communications, Media and Investor Relations, Public and Environmental Affairs, as well as Business and Market intelligence.

Erik Ljungberg succeeds Cecilia Edström, who will take up a similar position outside the group.
