Car Clubs Honored By Eagle One
California Car Club Wins Grand Prize In
Eagle One Golden Rule Award Contest
Receives $1,500 Donation For Favorite Charity
Cruisin' the Boulevard car club of Petaluma,CA was
selected the Grand Prize winner in the 15th annual
Eagle One Golden Rule Award contest. This marked
the first year that a grand prize winner was selected.
The club's contribution of Automatic Electronic
Defibrillators for 21 police cars, three high schools
and City Hall was judged the most compassionate
achievement among the four regional clubs that
were honored for outstanding community involvement
programs in their region during 2007.
AEDs are portable electronic devices that automatically
diagnose emergencies that can cause cardiac arrest
and sudden death.
In recognition of their achievement, Eagle One donated
$1,500 to a favorite charity of the club.
Other winners were: Midwest: E'ville Iron Street Rods,
Evansville, IN; East: Heart of Maryland Classic Chevy
Club, Mount Airy, MD; South: Corvettes of Naples, FL.
Eagle One made $500 donations to favorite charities
of the three clubs.
In addition to the cash donations, the clubs received a
custom-designed award and a generous supply of Eagle
One premium appearance care products and Valvoline
products for fund-raising events. Valvoline is an associate
sponsor of the award program.

clubs for the outstanding work they perform in their communities
while actively engaged in the preservation and enjoyment of
one of our country's greatest heritages, the automobile," said
Lorna Willis, brand manager for Eagle One.
