The Stater Bros 300 has been postponed yet again with the race now scheduled to be held on Monday 25 February one hour after the completion of the Cup race after further rain at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California today.

NASCAR originally looked to run the event at 1:00pm US Eastern time, but with today's Auto Club 500 for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series also postponed to Monday after only 87 laps of the 250-lap event were completed before rain fell today, the Nationwide Series race will be held after the completion of the Cup race. Current estimations put the start of the Stater Bros 300 at approximately 4:00pm US Eastern time.

Ten HD will show the race in Australia at approximately 9:00am Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time tomorrow morning (Tuesday 26 February 2008). EPSN2 has also rescheduled its telecast in the United States and NASCAR.com is expected to stream live vision.

The second race in the 2008 NASCAR Nationwide Series season was originally scheduled for Saturday but rain forced NASCAR to attempt to run the event after the completion of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Auto Club Speedway today (Sunday US time).

With the Auto Club 500 Cup race currently experiencing it’s second red flag delay due to rain, NASCAR has moved the proposed start time for the Stater Bros 300 to Monday US time at 1:00pm US Eastern time. Full time conversions listed below.

Marcos Ambrose will start tomorrow’s race from 18th position in the #59 Kingsford Hickory Ford Fusion, with the field set by 2007 Owner’s Points after qualifying was also rained out.

In the sole practice session held at the 2.0-mile speedway yesterday, Ambrose was 28th fastest.

Be sure to check MarcosAmbrose.com and NASCAR.com for updates. NASCAR.com is expected to show a live television stream of the race.
