Axelrod will discuss the topics broached in his soon-to-be released book, Edison on Innovation: 102 Lessons in Creativity for Business and Beyond (Jossey-Bass, March 2008), which utilizes Edison’s inventions – such as the telephone and typewriter – as a way of promoting good mental habits to help even the least creative people to generate new ideas, technologies and creative breakthroughs.
