The CJM Racing team will make their first attempt at a Superspeedway race in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) this weekend at Daytona International Speedway (DIS)
Veteran driver Jason Keller has signed on to drive the No. 11 CJM Racing entry for at least the first 10 races in the 2008 season
CJM Racing is currently seeking a full-time sponsor to help the team compete for the 2008 NNS championship title. The team will run www.sponsorcjm.com on the deck lid and TV panel to assist in the sponsorship search
Conrad Yelvington Distributors, Inc. (CYDI) will serve as the primary sponsor this weekend at DIS. The one race sponsorship is a result of a business-to-business relationship between CYDI and team owner Tony Mullet
In addition, Allstate Materials will be displayed on the rear quarters of the No.11 entry this weekend
Jason Keller has made 16 career starts at DIS with an average starting position of 22nd and an average finishing position of 18th
Keller comes into the NNS as the all-time start leader with 422 career starts. Keller surpassed previous record holder Tommy Houston last year at Lowe’s Motor Speedway
CJM Racing will unload chassis #06 at DIS. This is the first Superspeedway chassis built by CJM Racing since entering the NNS

JASON KELLER'S THOUGHTS ON HEADING INTO THE 2008 SEASON:

“It’s a mixed reaction. One the one hand we are happy to be coming into Daytona knowing we are secure for at least the first 10 races but then again it’s also difficult knowing we might only be around for 10 races. The team is coming into this season with a positive attitude and we hope to make some impressive runs and draw some attention to ourselves. The sponsorship search continues and we all remain optimistic that something will come together and allow us to compete for the championship.”

THOUGHTS ON DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY:

“I’m feeling pretty confident coming into the season opener. The CJM guys built me a great Superspeedway car which tested very well down here last month. I also had an opportunity to help GEM out in the Cup test session so I have logged a lot of laps at DIS already. Come race time it will be a nail bitter. This track is always a shootout till the very end. If your aerodynamics package is good and you have some drafting help there is no doubt that you can finish in the top-10 and that’s what we’re hoping to do.”
