SAN FRANCISCO--Autonet Mobile is bringing the hottest new accessory option to the car: the Internet. As the first wireless Internet provider for cars, Autonet Mobile will be demonstrating their new Wi-Fi router at NADA in booth #2955W at Moscone, West Hall. The newest Autonet Mobile router turns the car into a Wi-Fi hotspot and lets every passenger access the Internet to surf the web, check email, access social networking sites, IM, chat or download on-line games from the car.

Autonet Mobile has completed an agreement with the Price Family Dealer Group to distribute the Autonet Mobile Wi-Fi router through their dealerships in Northern California including Toyota Sunnyvale, Toyota and Lexus of Marin and Marin Volvo, Land Rover, Jaguar and Aston Martin. Purposely designed for the car, Autonet Mobile can be easily installed within 20 minutes anywhere inside the vehicle by the dealership. The Price Family Dealer Group will begin selling Autonet Mobile this month at an MSRP of $595 for the unit and $39 per month for the service.

Last month, Autonet Mobile and Delphi announced they will explore new Telematics and in-car entertainment products that will bring the highest quality and lowest price wireless Internet to the car. By leveraging Delphi's leadership in automotive electronics and Autonet Mobile's TRU-Technology, multiple passengers can simultaneously enjoy an easy to use and continuous Internet connection for any Wi-Fi computer, game device or iPhone.

Autonet Mobiles Wi-Fi router is the hottest new accessory option for the car, said Tom Price, president of Price Family Dealer Group of Northern California.

Its letting our dealerships differentiate themselves by offering customers the latest in consumer electronics and also helping to ring up new sales with existing customers, continued Price. Dealers know that the simple media center no longer satisfies the consumers appetite for in-car entertainment and in our dealerships Autonet Mobiles first to market Wi-Fi router is already a hit with customers.

According to Sterling Pratz, CEO and co-founder of Autonet Mobile, Its all about bringing the Internet into the car and offering a consumer electronics product for automotive dealerships that will drive more in-store traffic and new revenue streams. We have already seen the success of the power of the Internet in rental cars with our Avis Connect offering and now we are beginning to see it drive consumer traffic in automotive dealerships.

Autonet Mobiles patent pending TRU-Technology enables continuous Internet access so that passengers stay connected while driving. TRU-Technology provides intelligent, dynamic session management between high/low speed networks, producing a reliable user experience. Autonet Mobile ensures a secure, broadband-level connection to any WiFi-enabled device within close proximity to the vehicle.
