BorgWarner Ranked 4th on China's 100 Best Auto Suppliers List

Also Recognized as "Excellent Auto Parts Joint-Venture"

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Feb. 11 -- BorgWarner Thermal Systems in Ningbo, China, has been ranked fourth in "China Auto Parts Suppliers Top 100 Best" for 2007 and received an additional award as "Excellent Auto Parts Joint-Venture." The fourth annual event organized by China Automotive News honors excellence among engine and component manufacturers in the Chinese auto industry. Professionals from China SAE, China Automotive Technology & Research Center (CATARC) and universities chose the winners from over 6,000 automotive component suppliers in China based on operational performance, customer satisfaction and market performance. Only eight foreign-invested companies out of 1,000 made the final 100.

BorgWarner has a long and distinguished history as a product leader in advanced powertrain technologies and system solutions. Propelled by growing demand in the rapidly expanding Chinese automotive market, BorgWarner Thermal Systems is building a new production facility at its campus in Ningbo where it will produce fans, viscous fan drives, Visctronic(R) fan drives, water pumps, electronic water pumps and oil pumps. The operation serves over 100 customers in China including Nanjing MG Motor, Dong Feng Motors, China Sino Truck, FAW Wuxi Diesel, Shanghai VW, FAW VW, ZhengZhou Nissan and Foton Motor as well as overseas customers such as Chrysler (USA), TATA (India) and Ford (South Africa).
