With the 2008 NASCAR season set to begin, SportSouth presents Spotlight: Atlanta Motor Speedway, a 30-minute all-access special on the track considered by many NASCAR drivers to be one of the fastest on the circuit. Hosted by Natalie Taylor, Spotlight: Atlanta Motor Speedway debuts on SportSouth on Saturday, February 9 at 8 p.m. ET.

Spotlight: Atlanta Motor Speedway talks with NASCAR drivers like Kasey Kahne, Kurt Busch and Elliott Sadler about their experiences on the track and captures the memories of legendary NASCAR stars Richard Petty, Bill Elliott and Junior Johnson. SportSouth’s Ray Goodrich sits down with Atlanta Motor Speedway president and general manager Ed Clark, who talks about the speed of the track and discusses the devastating tornado that hit the track in July of 2005 just four months before the track’s fall race. Lastly, Natalie Taylor tours the Atlanta Motor Speedway to showcase some of the luxuries for fans, including the on-site condominiums and suites and offers a view from the grandstands at the start-finish line.
