RACING BUSINESS (WELCOME, NC.) - RCR Bolsters Partnership Marketing Department Staff
Richard Childress Racing (RCR) has increased its partnership marketing department staff with the additions of Carl Johanson and Jeremy Burleson.
Johanson has been named partnership marketing senior manager with direct responsibilities for the Jack Daniel’s and DIRECTV programs, among others, as well as special projects. He brings a wealth of knowledge to the position after 17 years with Snap-on Inc., where, for the past 10 years he served as the motorsports marketing manager. Johanson has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Carthage College in Kenosha, Wis.
Burleson assumes a partnership marketing manager position with direct responsibilities for the Holiday Inn/Holiday Inn Express, Hershey and SKF programs, among others. He has been involved in motorsports marketing since graduating in 2002 from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, N.C., with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He worked for two year’s at Action Performance Companies, Inc., in Tempe, Ariz., and most recently with IMG Worldwide, Inc., in Charlotte, N.C., where he was the account manager for the company’s Coca-Cola program.
