The event will also allow participants the opportunity to meet several of NASCAR’s top drivers and personalities and will feature a silent auction with many unique items.
Tickets for this once-in-a-lifetime event are $150 and all proceeds benefit Speedway Children’s Charities. Business casual attire is required. For additional information or to purchase tickets, please contact Shaun Birindelli at 770-946-3980 or www.speedwaycharities.org.
Speedway Children’s Charities was founded in 1984 by Bruton Smith, Chairman of Speedway Motorsports, Inc. and Sonic Automotive. Smith wanted to give back to the community and created Speedway Children’s Charities, which provides funds to charities that meet the direct needs of children. SCC best affects children’s lives by supporting organizations that work tirelessly to see that children’s needs are met and that no child is left behind regardless of illness, social environment or disability.
Thanks to the generosity of many supporters, the Atlanta Chapter was able to distribute more than $277,000 to 27 local charities at its annual grant ceremony in December, 2007.
