With students across the nation enjoying the start of their official “spring break”, Atlanta Motor Speedway is offering the cure for a dreaded case of spring fever. The track is making a limited number of $19 tickets to the Kobalt Tools 500 Sprint Cup race available while supplies last.

Students of any age, who possess valid school issued identification, can purchase a ticket in the Elliott Grandstand on rows one through six for just $19 while a ticket on rows seven through 39 can be purchased for only $30. Students will be asked to present their identification card at the gate with their ticket, prior to entering the grandstand.

Located in Turn three, the Elliott Grandstand offers fans a fantastic view of the stars of NASCAR as they race down the backstretch towards the 200 mph mark.

Students looking for an entire weekend of excitement can indulge in a three-day display of high-speed action as the Kobalt Tools 500 will be accompanied by the Nicorette 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race on Saturday, March 8. Friday, March 7 will feature the American Commercial Lines 200 Craftsman Truck Series race and Georgia Power Sprint Cup qualifying under the lights, offering students the perfect prelude to their spring break festivities.

As always, parking on speedway property is free of charge for all events during the event weekend and coolers are allowed in the grandstands provided they are no larger than 14 inches in height, width and length. No glass containers are allowed in the grandstands.

Tickets to the entire race weekend including the student ticket specials, are available by calling the AMS ticket office at (877) 9-AMS-TIX (877-926-7849), 770-946-4211 or by visiting www.atlantamotorspeedway.com.
