INDYCAR (INDIANAPOLIS, IN.) - Franchitti To See Likeness On Borg-Warner Trophy Jan. 12

2007 Indianapolis 500 winner Dario Franchitti will see his likeness on the Borg-Warner Trophy for the first time Saturday, Jan. 12 during the American Auto Racing Writers and Broadcasters Association Auto Racing All-America Team Banquet at the Hyatt Regency in Indianapolis.

Franchitti also will receive his Indianapolis 500 Champion of Champions winner’s ring from IMS President and Chief Operating Officer Joie Chitwood during the event, which takes place during the Shav Glick Newsmakers Forum. The forum starts at 5:30 p.m. (ET) on the second level of the Hyatt Regency.

The 2007 AARWBA Auto Racing All-America Team, determined by vote of AARWBA media members, will be honored during the banquet later that evening. The winner of the Jerry Titus Memorial Trophy, presented to the driver of the year, also will be announced.
