Webasto Product North America, Inc. Appoints New President and CEO

FENTON, Mich., Jan. 3, 2008 -- Mark Wallace has been named President and CEO of Webasto Product North America, Inc. (WPNA), effective January 2, 2008. WPNA is the North American subsidiary of leading global automotive supplier Webasto AG's Global Comfort Solutions (GCS) business unit.

GCS is the world's leader in the development, production and sale of complete interior and cabin comfort enhancing products for all types of vehicles and marine vessels. These temperature management solutions include fuel-operated parking and auxiliary heating systems for cars and heating and air-conditioning systems for trucks, buses, campers, boats and special vehicles.

"Mark brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the North American headquarters which will be the catalyst for our continued growth and pursuit of customer excellence," said Phillip A. Thompson, President of GCS and Member of the Webasto AG Management Board. Wallace joins WPNA from Webasto AG's Webasto Roof Systems Inc. (WRSI) subsidiary that specializes in the supply of innovative roof systems to the automotive industry. As Vice President of Operations and COO of WRSI he was responsible for the successful operation of WRSI's six manufacturing facilities that generate over $400 Million in annual sales. Wallace has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering and an MBA from the University of Tennessee.
