December 28 (Gasgoo.com) ¨C China's Soueast Motor has recently signed a 5,700 vehicle export agreement with an Iranian company, the Chinese automaker announced on its website today. Under the agreement, the Fujian-based Soueast Motor will export 5,700 Soueast Delica vehicles to Iran starting in early 2008. The 5,700 Soueast Delica cars, bought by Mehreghan Co. will be used to replace rundown taxis in Iranian cities. Soueast Motor, based in southeast China's Fujian Province, has won the lion's share of the Iranian government's plan to replace 15,000 taxis in 2007, according to a report on the company's website.
