18 year-old Ryan Fischer made his very first laps around Daytona International Speedway last weekend as he tested the #25 Venturini Motorsports Chevrolet. Fischer, a native of British Columbia, Canada, was impressive as he was consistent throughout the test session and turned the quickest single car lap in ARCA testing Sunday morning with a 49.558 second run, 181.605 mph.

Fischer was among a record 79 drivers and 68 racecars to take part in a three-day ARCA Re/Max test session at the high banks of Daytona. The Canadian rookie went up against some of the best developmental teams in racing, edging out powerhouse teams like Roush Fenway Racing.

"We are very excited with Ryan's performance. He hasn't had much seat time in a stock car so for him to go out there and run some fast laps is impressive. We are trying to get him as much time behind the wheel as possible and the partnership we have formed with Venturini Motorsports will assist us in doing that. The goal is to get Ryan comfortable enough in a stock car that we can run him in a few Nationwide Series races too," explained team owner Tony Mullet.

Fischer became a part of the CJM Racing stable earlier this year. The young talent caught the attention of CJM Racing with his great character and his natural ability behind the wheel of a stock car. The team is currently searching for sponsorship partners to assist them in their developmental program.
