Matt Kenseth Returns To Race at The Milwaukee Mile

August 22-24 Governor's Cup Weekend Takes Shape

MILWAUKEE, Wis. (December 17, 2007) - Wisconsin NASCAR superstar Matt
Kenseth is racing at The Milwaukee Mile in a super late model on Sunday,
August 24th, to defend his victory in the "Wisconsin All-Star 100 with Matt
Kenseth" race, during the historic speedway's Governor's Cup weekend.

Last August, the Cambridge, Wis. native started eighth and proceeded to race
to his first Milwaukee Mile checkered flag in a 50-lap super late model race
promoted by RK Race Promotions, in conjunction with The Mile. Kenseth
bested an all-star field of 36 drivers from Wisconsin and throughout the
Midwest.

Kenseth has raced in numerous NASCAR Busch Series and super late model
events at America's Legendary Oval, with a best finish of second in 2001,
before moving on to capture stock car racing's top prize, the 2003 NASCAR
Winston Cup championship. The popular NASCAR driver finished an impressive
4th in the 2007 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series standings, and has finished within
the top-10 each year in the premier series' points dating back to 2002.

A challenge facing Kenseth when he returns to his roots is the fact the race
has doubled in length to 100 miles, with what is expected to be a stellar
field of upwards of fifty super late model racers from throughout the
Midwest.

"Matt really enjoyed himself last year, and we're delighted for our fans
that he's committed to racing again against some of the finest super late
model drivers at The Milwaukee Mile on Sunday, August 24th," commented
Milwaukee Mile Chairman Craig Stoehr. "We're building our Governor's Cup
weekend by bringing together the top short track talent in the country while
keeping it affordable for a family to spend the weekend watching four great
divisions of stock car racing."

Once again, RK Race Promotions, operated by Roy Kenseth, Matt's father, is
offering a special hospitality package, which includes a 400-level race day
ticket and a private hospitality area that includes a question and answer
session with Matt Kenseth on race day morning, Sunday, August 24th. For
more details on this package, visit www.mattkenseth.com

All "Wisconsin All-Star 100 with Matt Kenseth" on-track activities will take
place on Sunday, August 24, with rules under the watchful eye of Roy Kenseth
and run as an ASA Midwest Tour points event.

Furthering The Mile's efforts to bring together the best touring late model
competitors, the ASA Late Model Series Challenge Division returns for a
third season, with a move to Sunday for a 150-mile contest. This series
truly showcases the next stars of NASCAR, as the past three champions in
this nationally-recognized series currently race in NASCAR Nationwide
(formerly Busch) Series and in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Drivers
from California to Florida compete in this ultra-competitive series that
features extended lap events on America's finest short tracks. Robbie Pyle
of Columbus, Ohio is the defending race winner at The Mile.

The Milwaukee Mile tradition continues of offering grass roots stock car
racers the opportunity to shine in the Mid-American Stock Car Series, and
the running of the Governor's Cup 40-lap race on Saturday, August 23rd.
This series tours Midwestern short tracks and races with weekly competitors
under the same, affordable rules package that you find at many Wisconsin
paved short tracks. The Mid-American Stock Car Series enters its 16th
season, with The Mile holding their crown jewel event. In 2007, Oak Creek,
Wis. native Bobby Gutknecht scored the biggest win in his 25-year driving
career.

New to The Mile's all-stock car Governor's Cup weekend is the ASA Late Model
Series North Division 100-lap race on Saturday, August 23. The regional
series draws of top talents from primarily the Midwest and Northeast. The
series rules include a crate engine with specified body and chassis
restrictions, placing an emphasis on driving talent and chassis handling.
Established short track racers will be challenged by a talented cast of
teenagers and up-and-coming drivers who will look to steal the headlines at
The Mile, the largest track and the longest event the series will run this
season.
